LA District Attorney says they won't charge the 8 cops that fired 100 bullets into the blue Toyota newspaper delivery truck driven by two women, when the cops were out to kill the large black man in a gray Nissan truck

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office said in a letter it found "insufficient admissible evidence" to prove the officers acted unreasonably.... in the self defense and defense of others clause of use of deadly force.

So, self defense? Against women delivering newspapers... caused 8 LAPD, who you're expected to believe are professional, and knowledgeable in their job, procedures, and police policy of deadly force, to pull the triggers until the clips were empty. Yeah, that DA is as corrupt as the cops.

LAPD Chief Beck said he believed the officers involved in the shooting violated the department's deadly force policy, but later decided not to discipline the officers and would allow them to return to the field.

just another asshole that became a cop, and proved that police departments aren't professional, or even at least procedural.

Oregon Statetrooper lt Rob Edwards rammed the rider of a sports bike and then placed a super kick to his chest, braking his collar bone and fracturing a rib on August 3rd of 2012.

Justin Wilkens took trooper Edwards to court looking for compensation for medical, repair, and towing bills that all stemmed from the incident that took place in August 2012. Wilkens was awarded $181,170 dollars by a jury who unanimously agreed that the State Trooper used excessive force and violated the rider’s civil rights.

There has been no disciplinary action taken against the veteran who admitted under oath that he acted excessively and that Wilkens was following his orders when he kicked him in the chest. Edwards has since been promoted to the rank of Captain.

Update March 2016, The jury also determined that Captain Edwards acted with negligence when he rear-ended Wilkens' motorcycle, Wilkens was awarded more than $180,000 in total damages, including $31,000 in economic damages to cover his medical expenses and repairs to his motorcycle, and nearly $50,000 in punitive damages.  http://www.autoblog.com/2016/01/28/motorcyclist-awarded-180-000-after-encounter-with-police/?ncid=edlinkusauto00000016

Adam Rupeka gave piece of shit former officer Nathan Baker the middle finger salute while driving (May 2014) POS cop pepper sprayed and arrested him. POS cop resigned before he could get fired.

Saratoga Springs city paid $50.000 to Adam Rupeka of Troy who got pepper sprayed and arrested after flipping off a police officer.

The city also released video that also shows Baker threatening to use a taser on a handcuffed Rupeka at the police station.

The video taken by Rupeka after getting pulled over by Baker shows the officer shooting pepper spray in the driver’s face when he did not get out of his car and questioned why he was being arrested.

Baker later resigned. At the time, Police Chief Gregory Vietch said the officer’s conduct was inappropriate.

“The job of a police officer is not to drive around delivering attitude adjustments to those citizens who show unmistakable signs of being in need of one,” Veitch said. “Obviously we want our officers to behave professionally and use force appropriately. In this case it was something we thought required termination or separation from the police department,”

He added that even if Baker had been provoked, his actions were inconsistent with the department’s policies, training methods and values.

For the full story from Adam himself, http://www.copblock.org/126581/copblock-contributor-pepper-sprayed-arrested-giving-cop-bird/  where he takes through step by step of what asshole cops are.... 1)ignoring the Supreme Court ruling that they can not arrest you for gesturing at them 2) not using a nuetralizing agent after handcuffing a suspect (remember, innocent until proven guilty by a court) 3) putting peppersprayed suspect in cop car without lower windows, turning on AC etc, just to further antagonize the suspect

It not news that the federal drug enforcement seizes all cash they can find, even illegally, but this time they harassed another federal cop

In May of 2014, Ronnie and Lisa Hankins were driving back from his grandfather’s funeral in Virginia when they were targeted by a gang of police officers in search of cash.

The traffic stop occurred west of Nashville, in Dickson County that's become well-known for a controversial practice known as "policing for profit." Drug interdiction agencies in that area target out-of-state drivers. Those agencies fund their operations under a state law that lets them seize cash from drivers based on the suspicion that it's drug money.

As Lisa drove  westbound on I-40 heading back to California after the funeral, they saw a road block, the 23rd Judicial District Drug Task Force, and Hankins correctly predicted that they were about to be pulled over.

Why? California plates driving in Tennessee, with a hispanic female driver.

For nearly an hour, cops held the innocent couple on the side of the interstate while they tore Lisa’s new car apart. They even went so far as to rip the dashboard out. They found no drugs.

But after finding no drugs, the truth came out — these cops weren’t looking for drugs at all — they wanted cash.

Ronnie Hankins is a federal police officer (Military Police) at the Marine Corps Air Station-Miramar in San Diego. So was I back in 1995-96.

The govt just found a new way to screw you. If the DEA steals your vehicle, gets it shot and damaged, they don't have to reimburse you... so says the federal court. Your insurance won't cover that either, fyi

A federal court has ruled that the Drug Enforcement Agency does not have to pay a truck owner whose vehicle they commandeered in a botched drug sting operation – without his knowledge or permission – in which the agency's confidential informant driver was shot dead and the truck was damaged.

Says truck owner Craig Patty: "I took the federal government to court and lost. They refused to pay for my truck that was shot up and damaged because of their operation which I knew nothing about." He says that the insurance company wouldn't pay for damages either because it involved a criminal action. "It's in the fine print," he says.

The complex story, pieced together from trial documents and interviews, offers a view of a federal agency that apparently did not have a handle on its own operations, disregarded Constitutional law – according to the truck owner's lawyers – and then asked the courts to seal documents because it might reveal confidential information about their failed operation.

Read this one, it goes deep down the rabbit hole, and seems to be the thing I've read in years to an episode of Breaking Bad
