what you've heard about them not being able to sell Shelby Mustangs is true, here's a Sept 1970 newspaper clipping cutting the price in half

Seriously, they aren't selling just one at 1/2 price, they have 26.... look at the lower left corner. Only has a 351. Big lousy deal. Keep in mind, Carroll Shelby had nothing to do with this car... he bailed when Ford forgot they were trying to sell cool fast Mustangs, and went to fat large dumpy cars.
